CVC directives for public under its jurisdiction: Chümoukedima Village Council (CVC) chairman Razouvotuo Chatsu and joint secretary, Sedevikho Tsükrü in the interest of public safety has issued the following directives for strict compliance under its jurisdiction: Any returnees from outside the state, who resides in Chümoukedima village jurisdiction are directed to report to designated government quarantine facilities, those persons under no circumstance shall be allowed to enter the village jurisdiction; Visitors\/outsiders are totally banned from entering Chümoukedima village jurisdiction; Any individual wanting to enter the village must seek prior permission from the village council and may do so only during the permitted timing as per standing order during partial restriction from hours 8 a.m to 2 p.m, while total restriction shall be imposed at all other times thereafter; Chümoukedima Village Youth Society (CVYS) has been tasked to strictly monitor all entry and exit points; Public are advised to take the 7th Mile-Jalukie road for access to burial in Naga Cemetery; All meetings\/functions\/public gathering henceforth stands prohibited and movement for non-essentials at any places\/shops\/centre will not be permitted; Any person failing to comply with the above notification of the village will be severely dealt with as per the standing resolution of the village.<\/p>\n
SAYO informs on vehicular movement along NH 29: Southern Angami Youth Organisation (SAYO) in a press release on May 5 stated that for precautionary measures against COVID-19 and welfare of general public, it had earlier issued a notification on April 16 restricting vehicular movement along NH-29, carrying essential commodities for neighbouring state Manipur. However, with some relaxations on lockdown by the government of India, SAYO said it will follow the revised guideline and notification laid down by the government. Accordingly, vehicles carrying essential commodities can pass through Southern Angami jurisdiction as per government order.<\/p>\n
