With the 4.0 lockdown, the contributions of preventive essentials and relief rations continue in the state. <\/p>\n
Y. Patton donates to NHAK: Goodwill gesture was extended to the frontline warriors and patients of Naga Hospital Authority Kohima (NHAK) by deputy CM Nagaland Y. Patton on May 19. A press release from PRO to state president BJP Nagaland, Samuel Sumi stated that, food packs donated by Y. Patton were distributed by chief spokesperson BJP Nagaland, Kuputo Shohe and Seiyekhriele Nagi, president BJP Kohima district to all the patients and medical staff. The food packs were handed over to Dr Visasie-u Kire, MS in presence of Dr Avelie Dental, Dr Angto senior anesthetist, Dr Wathsutho physician and Kevizo medical physicist, which was received by the medical superintendent of NHAK.<\/p>\n
IRCS Dimapur branch: Hindustan Lever Limited, through their distributor Chandu Agarwal, M\/s. Bansidhar Anandilal, Dimapur donated 5,000 pieces of soaps for free distributions in Dimapur district through Red Cross volunteers. A press release from Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) Dimapur branch vice chairman, Ajay Sethi stated that, Dimapur Red Cross chairman Chandu Agarwal, vice-chairman Ajay Sethi, honorary secretary K. K. Paul were present with various volunteers & their team leaders Neizo Khusoh & Apu Roy on the occasion at the distributor’s shop near Durga Mandir on May 19.<\/p>\n
NEEPCO (DHEP) Doyang donates relief: North East Electrical Power Co-operation (NEEPCO), Doyang hydro electrical staff donated a sum of Rs. 1, 30, 000\/- (rupees one lakh thirty thousand only) from their welfare fund to the Wokha District Task Force (DTF) for COVID-19. According to DIPR report, the relief fund was handed over to the deputy commissioner and chairman Wokha DTF at his office chamber on May 19.<\/p>\n
Agarwal Samaj contributes: Agarwal Samaj donated 2000 masks and 500 hand gloves towards food committee COVID-19 to be used for volunteers and front line workers on May 19. A press release informed that the essentials were received by pastor Yanbemo Lotha committee member. <\/p>\n
BJP Wokha donates: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Wokha unit led by president Yanthungo Kikon and Samuel Ezung, COVID-19 BJP unit control room in-charge and BJP members donated hand sanitiser and mask to SBI Wokha branch. <\/p>\n
