A press release by MTD SDO (Trans) stated that, this was due to necessitated maintenance of 66\/33KV 20MVA power transformer at 132\/66\/33KV Aolichen substation, Mokokchung. All the public in the affected areas have been requested to extend cooperation and bear with the inconvenience during this period.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pungro town: <\/strong>Power supply was disrupted at Pungro town PWD ward and some parts of adjoining colonies due to lightning strike which had damaged the transformer of&nbsp; 250KVA, 11\/0.4KV on August 8.&nbsp; EE (Elect) Kiphire Power department informed that it was putting all efforts to restore power supply at the earliest possible time.
