{"id":219565,"date":"2020-08-18T13:01:11","date_gmt":"2020-08-18T13:01:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2020\/08\/18\/nh-lauds-former-pm-gowda\/"},"modified":"2020-08-18T13:01:11","modified_gmt":"2020-08-18T13:01:11","slug":"nh-lauds-former-pm-gowda","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2020\/08\/18\/nh-lauds-former-pm-gowda\/","title":{"rendered":"NH lauds former PM Gowda"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/http:\/\/new.nagalandpost.com\/cms\/gall_content\/no_images_650x.jpg><\/p>\n<p>Naga Hoho (NH) has appreciated the &ldquo;wisdom and understanding&rdquo; of former prime minister HD Deve Gowda, who recently appealed to all parties concerned to put aside distrust and reach a settlement at the earliest.<\/p>\n<p>In a press release, NH president HK Zhimomi and general secretary K Elu Ndang&nbsp; said that it was the magnanimity of HD Deve Gowda in reaching out to the Naga leaders in Zurich in February 1997, &ldquo;which changed the course of the Naga struggle from war to path of peace.&rdquo;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>NH said that his recent statement and perseverance towards solving &ldquo;Indo-Naga&rdquo; political problem has assured once again that &ldquo;our problem is political and not law and order&rdquo;.<\/p>\n<p>The hoho said it &ldquo;fully affirms&rdquo; the commitment of the former prime minister to ensure that peace accord was reached at the earliest.
