MIP stated that, the void created by his demise will be deeply felt and difficult to fill in. For his selfless contribution to the Naga national cause, the NSCN (I-M) stated that his name shall be recorded in the pages of the Naga history and his sacrifice for the Naga nation shall ever be cherished by all.
