{"id":220013,"date":"2020-10-19T12:27:11","date_gmt":"2020-10-19T12:27:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2020\/10\/19\/gppk-hall-foundation-stone-laid-in-kohima\/"},"modified":"2020-10-19T12:27:11","modified_gmt":"2020-10-19T12:27:11","slug":"gppk-hall-foundation-stone-laid-in-kohima","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2020\/10\/19\/gppk-hall-foundation-stone-laid-in-kohima\/","title":{"rendered":"GPPK hall foundation stone laid in Kohima"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/2020_10$large_goaieer.jpg><\/p>\n<p>Foundation stone of the multi-utility hall of Gorkha Public Panchayat Kohima (GPPK) was laid by advisor of Urban Development and Municipal Affairs, Dr. Neikiesalie Kire at Chandmari ground on October 19.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A press release by GPPK publicity committee stated that, speaking on the occasion, Dr. Kire mentioned that COVID-19 pandemic has brought about a different norm which required smaller gatherings on any occasions. He therefore called upon people to start practicing and avoiding big crowds for one&rsquo;s own safety. Remarking that people in town area have become complacent and do not follow the guidelines or SOPs issued by the government to prevent the spread of COVID-19, he appealed all to continue with what has been asked to do including wearing a mask and maintaining social distancing.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Kire also assured of all possible support towards GPPK and its community members and would also take up the matter with the government.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>He further called upon the Gorkha community to work in cohesion with their leaders for a better future.<\/p>\n<p>GPPK president Santu Thapa delivering the welcome address expressed hope that Dr. Kire would extend support towards the successful completion of the multi-utility hall.
