Pangnyu Phom said 36 new cases were reported in Dimapur and 6 in Kohima.&nbsp; As per the severity of symptoms, 513 active cases are asymptomatic, 9 mild and 3 moderate cases.<\/p>\n<p>Further, out of 4,220 positive cases, the distribution across various categories of people include 1823 cases from the Armed Forces, 1297 returnees,309 frontline workers and 791 traced contacts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>India&rsquo;s COVID-19 tally crosses 42L<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>PTI: <\/em>India&rsquo;s COVID-19 tally of cases went past 42 lakh with a record 90,802 people being infected in a day, while 32,50,429 people have recuperated so far, pushing the national recovery rate to 77.30 per cent on Monday, according to the Union Health Ministry data.<\/p>\n<p>The total number of coronavirus cases mounted to 42,04,613, while the death toll climbed to 71,642 with 1,016 fatalities being reported in a span of 24 hours, the data updated at 8 am showed.<\/p>\n<p>The COVID-19 case fatality rate has further declined to 1.70 per cent.<\/p>\n<p>There are 8,82,542 active cases of the infection in the country which comprises 20.99 per cent of the total caseload, the data stated.<\/p>\n<p>India&rsquo;s COVID-19 tally had crossed the 20-lakh mark on August 7, 30 lakh on August 23 and it went past 40 lakh on September 5.<\/p>\n<p>According to the ICMR, a cumulative total of 4,95,51,507 samples have been tested up to September 6 with 7,20,362 samples being tested on Sunday.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The health ministry stressed that more than 70 per cent of the deaths occurred due to comorbidities.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Our figures are being reconciled with the Indian Council of Medical Research,&rdquo; the ministry said on its website, adding that state-wise distribution of figures is subject to further verification and reconciliation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nagaland COVID-19 tally 4220<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[679],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-220213","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","category-nagaland-news"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/220213","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=220213"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/220213\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=220213"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=220213"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=220213"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
