National People’s Party (NPP) Nagaland state during its ongoing state-wide membership drive, also held coordination and consultative meetings for executive committees at Wokha and Tuensang districts on October 26 and 27 respectively. <\/p>\n

A press release by NPP Nagaland state, IPR and media cell stated that, meeting of NPP Wokha district executive committee was held at the residence of district president, Khothungo Dominic at Longsa village on October 26. Welcome address was delivered by Khothungo while the newly inducted office bearers were handed over their appointment letters by the state president, Dr. Andrew Ahoto Sema. Speaking on behalf of the state executive, the state general secretary (IPR & Media), Tohovi Achumi apprised the gathering about the mission and objectives of the NPP Nagaland state. <\/p>\n

At Tuensang, the state executive officials including the state president was accorded a warm reception and escorted in a traditional style from the entrance gate. The meeting was restricted to about 25 attendees only at the Navinn Hotel. Presidential speech was delivered by the district president, M. Longre Chang. Brief speeches were delivered by the state president, Dr. Andrew Ahoto Sema, state general secretary (organisation), Limanuksung Longkumer and state general secretary (IPR & Media), Tohovi Achumi, state general secretary (youth affairs), H. Sethrongkhyu Sangtam and vice president of state youth wing, Hito Achumi. Programme was compered by Soshila, general secretary, NPP Tuensang district youth wing while invocation prayer was said by Jemie K. Khiamniungan, general secretary, NPP Tuensang district women wing. Vote of thanks was proposed by Khumpise Lise Sangtam, general secretary (Org), NPP Tuensang district executive committee followed by mass benediction.
