Battalion also helped the local populace in restoring the roads in Peren town on January 5.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The stretch of road in front of All Saints Higher Secondary School was maintained by the combined efforts of security forces and the locals.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the battalion also conducted COVID-19 campaign at Huenambe village, on January 8.<\/p>\n<p>The campaign focused on COVID-19 cases and villagers were urged to use masks and sanitisers. They were informed about symptoms of COVID-19 and measures to be adhered to avoid the infection.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Basic medical check up of the people was also conducted and were also informed about the upcoming nation vide vaccination programme.
