COVID-19 vaccination for age-appropriate groups will be launched on Monday. Under this, all citizens above 60 years and above as on January 1, 2022 and all those aged 45-59 years as on January 1, 2022 with co-morbidities or diseases, subject to certification by registered medical practitioners, will be covered. (See the table for list of diseases that would serve as criteria to qualify for the vaccine).<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n According to State immunisation officer (UIP) Dr Ritu Thurr, healthcare and frontline workers who were left out (both registered and non-registered) will continue to get the vaccine at all session sites. <\/p>\n The vaccination will be carried out from 9 am to 5 pm at the district hospitals of Dimapur, Kiphire, Longleng, Mokokchung, Mon, Phek, Tuensang and Zunheboto, NHAK in Kohima, UPHC in Wokha town and Jalukie community health centre (Peren). <\/p>\n Self-registration for the vaccination can be done at Co-Win App and Arogya Setu App, and by logging on to cowin.gov.in using one’s mobile number. One mobile number will be able to register up to four beneficiaries. <\/p>\n Onsite registration can also be availed at the session site, while self-registration option will be available from 9 am on Monday.<\/p>\n All beneficiaries will have to carry a photo ID like Aadhar, electoral photo identity card, employment certificate, official ID card, driving licence, PAN card, etc, for registration.<\/p>\n Beneficiaries between 45-59 years will need to produce\/upload a certificate of co-morbidity by a registered medical practitioner, in addition to the photo ID.
