{"id":228147,"date":"2021-04-17T12:25:44","date_gmt":"2021-04-17T12:25:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2021\/04\/17\/tsud-welcomes-ku-ntuct-stand-against-taxation\/"},"modified":"2021-04-17T12:25:44","modified_gmt":"2021-04-17T12:25:44","slug":"tsud-welcomes-ku-ntuct-stand-against-taxation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2021\/04\/17\/tsud-welcomes-ku-ntuct-stand-against-taxation\/","title":{"rendered":"TSUD welcomes KU, NTUCT stand against taxation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/http:\/\/new.nagalandpost.com\/cms\/gall_content\/no_images_650x.jpg><\/p>\n<p>Tenyimi Students&rsquo; Union Dimapur (TSUD) has welcomed the Konyak community&rsquo;s &ldquo;No Unity, No Tax&rdquo; resolution and Naga Tribal Union Chumoukedima Town (NTUCT)&rsquo;s reaffirmation of &ldquo;One Government, One Tax&rdquo; public resolution of October 31, 2013.<\/p>\n<p>Terming the decisions as &ldquo;historic&rdquo;, the TSUD through its media cell said that the &ldquo;bold declaration&rdquo; of two bodies was the &ldquo;dire need of the hour as we have many splinter groups and anti-social activities by some so-called individuals with vested interests.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>As equal shareholders to the Naga future, the union said the student community looked forward to the &ldquo;able leadership of both the hohos and other apex bodies to follow suit in repairing the fragmented Naga society lest we inherit a broken society.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>It stated that &ldquo;mushrooming of different factions for taxation under the guise of speaking for our rights has bought untold miseries to our society.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>TSUD acknowledged the efforts and sacrifices of &ldquo;some of our committed leaders in the different Naga political groups&rdquo;, but maintained that &ldquo;it is time for us to come together and a time to heal.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The union asserted that if Nagas were not united, they would be swept away by the forces that were &ldquo;diabolical in nature and thus our future looks bleak.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Stating that the cries and aspirations of the Naga people was for unity, the TSUD has appealed to all the leaders to come together leaving their differences aside for the future generations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TSUD welcomes KU, NTUCT stand against taxation<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[679],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-228147","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","category-nagaland-news"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/228147","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=228147"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/228147\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=228147"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=228147"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=228147"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
