{"id":228371,"date":"2021-03-13T12:41:47","date_gmt":"2021-03-13T12:41:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2021\/03\/13\/ensa-condemns-military-coup-in-myanmar\/"},"modified":"2021-03-13T12:41:47","modified_gmt":"2021-03-13T12:41:47","slug":"ensa-condemns-military-coup-in-myanmar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2021\/03\/13\/ensa-condemns-military-coup-in-myanmar\/","title":{"rendered":"ENSA condemns military coup in Myanmar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/http:\/\/new.nagalandpost.com\/cms\/gall_content\/no_images_650x.jpg><\/p>\n<p>Eastern Naga Student&rsquo;s Association (ENSA) along with its federating units held an emergency meeting on March 12 in Dimapur and collectively resolved to strongly condemn the military coup over the civilian government in Myanmar.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>ENSA president Nokpai Konyak and general secretary Kailong Lainong pointed out that following the coup on February 1, a democratic civil disobedience movement (CDM) was launched.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>However, ENSA said that the military and police force began to brutally attack innocent people by using sophisticated lethal weapons, injuring many, killing many peaceful protesters while also many innocent people have gone missing.<\/p>\n<p>In this regard, ENSA has sought the intervention of the United Nations (UN), Amnesty International, International Court of Justice and other International communities for effective action against violation of basic human rights and inhuman act of violence against the innocent public, which has been taking place since 1962.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;People of Burma need your support at this juncture to survive and to have a very basic human right as the citizens of the same being,&rdquo; ENSA stated.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It also urged the military junta to release Aung San Suu Kyi, president U Myint Swe, leaders of the NLD party and thousands of innocent public being illegally detained and also to respect the peoples mandate.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ENSA condemns military coup in Myanmar<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[679],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-228371","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","category-nagaland-news"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/228371","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=228371"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/228371\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=228371"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=228371"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=228371"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
