{"id":228617,"date":"2021-03-16T13:21:35","date_gmt":"2021-03-16T13:21:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2021\/03\/16\/organizations-support-njcf-prayer-call\/"},"modified":"2021-03-16T13:21:35","modified_gmt":"2021-03-16T13:21:35","slug":"organizations-support-njcf-prayer-call","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2021\/03\/16\/organizations-support-njcf-prayer-call\/","title":{"rendered":"Organizations support NJCF prayer call"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/http:\/\/new.nagalandpost.com\/cms\/gall_content\/no_images_650x.jpg><\/p>\n<p>Various organisations including Council of Nagalim Churches (CNC), Nagaland Gaonbura Federation (NGBF) and Central Nagaland Student&rsquo;s Association (CNSA) have extended support to the Nagaland Joint Christian Forum (NJCF)&rsquo;s call to all denominations to hold a day of prayer on March 20, from 6 a.m. to 12 noon, for confession, repentance and for the Naga political solution.<\/p>\n<div>In a statement, CNC general secretary Ikato Chishi Swu lauded the NJCF for initiating fasting and prayer &ldquo;for peaceful and honourable solution of the protracted Indo-Naga political issue.&rdquo;&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>CNC stated that it was &ldquo;indeed greatest need of the hour for Nagas&rdquo; because Nagas were now engaged in a spiritual warfare. CNC stated that there were &ldquo;unseen spiritual forces working against the fulfilment of God&rsquo;s purpose for the Nagas&rdquo;, adding that &ldquo;these unseen forces can only be defeated and driven out through prayer and fasting (Mark 9:29).&rdquo;<\/div>\n<div>CNC has, therefore, appealed to all the Naga churches in Nagalim and abroad, prayer centres, individuals, well-wishers and all the brigades, battalions, units, and regions under it to observe the prayer and fasting in their own respective churches and places, and earnestly pray on the prayer points circulated by NJCF.<\/div>\n<div>NGBF: Extending full support to NJCF&rsquo;s prayer call, the Nagaland Gaonbura Federation (NGBF) said that Nagas need &ldquo;God&rsquo;s divine interventions to help us in bringing Naga political solution a reality.&rdquo;<\/div>\n<div>NGBF media secretary Akhu Naga informed all the district GBs associations to observe a day of prayers on March 20.<\/div>\n<div>CNSA: Central Nagaland Student&rsquo;s Association (CNSA) has also strongly appealed to all its unit to support and participate in the state-wide prayer programme organized by NJCF for early solution to the vexed &ldquo;Indo Naga political dialogue.&rdquo;&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>In a statement, CNSA president Himato Yeptho, vice president Akummeren Ao and general secretary Lipemo M Tsope stated that no group, party or individual was blameless and above national cause, adding that &ldquo;we must remind ourselves&rdquo; that maintaining &ldquo;holier-than-thou attitude&rdquo; would not bring any solution rather it would &ldquo;bring doom to our society&rdquo;.<\/div>\n<div>CNSA has, therefore, appealed to all responsible to &ldquo;repent, confess and ask God for forgiveness for our shortcomings and change our perspectives to work together for greater interest of our people.&rdquo;&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>The student body stated that Naga people cannot afford to remain divided over certain vested interests sacrificing common Naga people in the Alter to satisfy one&rsquo;s ego and thirst for Supremacy.<\/div>\n<div>CNSA has appealed to all sections of society to participate in the genuine effort of NJCF.<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Organizations support NJCF prayer call<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[679],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-228617","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","category-nagaland-news"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/228617","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=228617"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/228617\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=228617"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=228617"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=228617"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
