Kughato Achumi and info &amp; publicity secretary Iuto V. Swu urged the minister to justify his stand behind the delay in disbursing of scholarship on time.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>The union also asked all the implementing agencies &ldquo;to release scholarships expeditiously&rdquo; so the students from economically weaker section did not face any hardships.<\/div>\n<div>Further, WSSU has affirmed that it &ldquo;will now not remain a silent spectator but will fight tooth and nail against any corruption&rdquo;.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>In a separate press release, DSSU president Vitopu Ayemi and general secretary Vitoka N Rochill stated that the responsible department and the state government should not withhold the fund meant for students by resorting to payments of scholarship on installment basis.<\/div>\n<div>DSSU stated that the student community out of whatever little amount they receive as scholarship could have paid for their academic needs.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>DSSU has, therefore, appealed to the department and the state government to release the entire amount received from the ministry without further delay.<\/div>\n<div>Further, DSSU said that it was open to exploring all options available to get the attention of the government and the department in getting scholarship issue addressed.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>WSSU, DSSU back ANCSU\u2019s ultimatum<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[679],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-229660","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","category-nagaland-news"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/229660","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=229660"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/229660\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=229660"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=229660"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=229660"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
