Defence PRO Lt Col  Sumit K Sharma in a press  release said concerted ef\u0002forts of Tuensang Battalion  of IGAR (North) under  Spear Corps to convince  insurgent cadres to rejoin  the mainstream led to an\u0002other major success when  a border domination pa\u0002trol obtained surrender of  the active ULFA (I) cadre  along the international bor\u0002der while he was returning  from Myanmar.  Mentioning that the  cadre revealed that the  third kidnapped ONGC  employee Ritul Saikia was  with ULFA (I) in all prob\u0002ability, the PRO claimed  that the surrendered mili\u0002tant also mentioned that he  had led a difficult life while  in the armed outfit and  made an appeal to his com\u0002rades to shun violence.
