{"id":230040,"date":"2021-04-04T12:36:04","date_gmt":"2021-04-04T12:36:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2021\/04\/04\/atmas-conduct-various-programmes-across-the-state\/"},"modified":"2021-04-04T12:36:04","modified_gmt":"2021-04-04T12:36:04","slug":"atmas-conduct-various-programmes-across-the-state","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2021\/04\/04\/atmas-conduct-various-programmes-across-the-state\/","title":{"rendered":"ATMAs conduct various programmes across the state"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/2021_4$large_phamtamea.gif><\/p>\n<p>Various blocks under Agricultural Technology management Agency (ATMA) conducted demonstration programmes for the welfare of farmers.<\/p>\n<p>Mokokchung: ATMA Mokokchung conducted a farmer-scientist interaction programme on &ldquo;sustainable agriculture &amp; allied farming approaches&rdquo; at Longsa village under Ongpangkong north block on April 1.<\/p>\n<p>A press release by ATMA Mokokchung block stated that the interaction programme was based on three sectors: agriculture; horticulture and veterinary.<\/p>\n<p>Under horticulture and agriculture sector, the farmers were enlightened on basic and vital principles such as procuring of disease free seeds, land preparation etc., to avoid and prevent incidences of pest and diseases.<\/p>\n<p>Under veterinary sector, fundamentals of rearing pigs were deliberated. Knowledge on sequential cropping to double the farmers income was also disseminated and technologies on integrated farming system were discussed.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the programme was chaired by Nuksunginla Jamir, ATM, ATMA and resource persons for the programme were Mokokchung deputy district agriculture officer, Dr. Lanunochetla; sub-divisional agriculture officer Mokokchung, Maongsangla; senior scientist &amp; head, KVK,Yisemyong, Dr. Keviletsu Khate; ACTO (horti), KVK, Yisemyong, Renbomo Ngullie;&nbsp; ACTO (agronomy) KVK Yisemyong, Samuel Sangtam; ACTO (vety&amp; A.H),KVK, Dr. Rongsensusang; VS, A.H &amp; Vety. Services, Mokokchung, Dr.Sanen; horticulture inspector, Mokokchung, Recha Imche and P. Sakotsungba Longchar, ATM, ATMA, Mokokchung.<\/p>\n<p>Altogether, 24 farmers participated in the programme.<\/p>\n<p>Phek: ATMA Phek organised a farmer-scientist interaction on March 29 at Horticultural Research Farm (HRF), Pfutsero.<\/p>\n<p>A press release by ATMA Phek stated that the thematic area for programme was on agronomic and horticultural crops and its cultivation technologies.<\/p>\n<p>The resource persons were ACTO (agronomy), Dr. Hannah Krujia and CTO (horticulture), Dr. Rinku Bharali. The programme chaired by (DPD) ATMA Phek Vethilu Theluo concluded with vote of thanks by DPD, Vinoka Y. Kiba.
