{"id":230128,"date":"2021-04-06T12:42:54","date_gmt":"2021-04-06T12:42:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2021\/04\/06\/nbse-class-xii-exam-begins-amid-pandemic\/"},"modified":"2021-04-06T12:42:54","modified_gmt":"2021-04-06T12:42:54","slug":"nbse-class-xii-exam-begins-amid-pandemic","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2021\/04\/06\/nbse-class-xii-exam-begins-amid-pandemic\/","title":{"rendered":"NBSE class XII exam begins amid pandemic"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/2021_4$large_hskcke.gif><\/p>\n<p>Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) examination 2021 commenced in 96 provisional examination centres across the state on Tuesday amid COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>Altogether 16835 candidates (Arts &ndash; 13024, Commerce &ndash; 1347 and Science &ndash; 2464) are appearing for HSSLC Examination this year. Out of 16835 candidates, 8194 are boys and 8641 are girls. Due to current pandemic situation, NBSE has created more additional examination centres in the districts and sub divisions in order to maintain social distancing in the examination centres.<\/p>\n<p>Centre superintendents have already been briefed about the preventive measures\/SOPs to be followed during the conduct of the examination to contain the spread of COVID-19. The district education officer (DEO) Dimapur, V Bendanglila, told Nagaland Post that all examination centres have been directed to adhere to the COVID-19 standard operating procedures (SOPs).&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>She said that altogether there were 45 provisional examination centres (private and government schools) in Dimapur including Nuiland and Medziphema.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>When this reporter visited some examination centres, candidates were seen wearing masks and following the social-distancing norms.<\/p>\n<p>Hand sanitizers have been made available at entry points and inside the exam hall in several centres.
