In a press note, JCPI convenor Atomi Swu and secretary Tia Longchar reaffirmed that there can be only a single cut-off year for both ILP and RIIN (December 1, 1963, the Statehood Day), which they asserted was &ldquo;non-negotiable.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>JCPI has appealed to all tribal apex hohos to attend a consultative meeting for the next course of action, saying the state government has not been forthcoming in its decision. The committee informed that venue, date and time would be notified at the earliest. &ldquo;Time has come for us to take a call and be ready to make sacrifices to realize the aspirations of the indigenous people of the State,&rdquo; JCPI stated and expressed gratitude to thousands of supporters.
