The meeting was held on July 9 at DPDB, conference hall and was chaired by DC &amp; chairman DTF, T. Wati Aier.<\/p>\n<p>According to DIPR report, the deputy commissioner (DC) informed that despite efforts being carried out in the district, it had the lowest percentage in COVID-19 vaccination among the other districts in the state.<\/p>\n<p>In this regard, he urged upon the members and ward chairmen, ward GBs and ward representatives to put more effort in the vaccination drives to achieve the target.<\/p>\n<p>The DC also informed that financial assistance would be provided to the eleven wards to help monitor COVID-19 activities in their respective wards.<\/p>\n<p>Wati Aier suggested the district education officer (DEO) to educate the teachers to create awareness on sensitisation and vaccination drives.<\/p>\n<p>CMO, Motsuthung while briefing on COVID-19 status said that six people in the district died due to COVID-19 and out of six people, only one person received the first dose.<\/p>\n<p>While highlighting the status of COVID-19 activities DIO, Dr. K.
