{"id":23216,"date":"2017-12-21T23:21:55","date_gmt":"2017-12-21T23:21:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2017\/12\/21\/leo-club-conducts-awareness-on-air-pollution\/"},"modified":"2017-12-21T23:21:55","modified_gmt":"2017-12-21T23:21:55","slug":"leo-club-conducts-awareness-on-air-pollution","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2017\/12\/21\/leo-club-conducts-awareness-on-air-pollution\/","title":{"rendered":"Leo Club conducts awareness on air pollution"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/><\/p>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">As part of its project on the quarterly theme \u201cCare for Air\u201d, Leo Club of Dimapur in association with the traffic police of Dimapur carried out an awareness amongst the citizens of Dimapur with respect to air pollution.&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">The first phase was conducted at \u201cBata Charali Junction\u201d on December 15 followed by second phase on December 16.&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">During the campaign, the club distributed masks to the pedestrians and those on two-wheelers.&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">Motorists stuck on traffic were also asked to switch off their engines if they have to wait for more than 30 seconds, and avoid unnecessary honking.&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">It also appealed to the people to switch off ACs, refrigerators, etc at home when not required.
