{"id":232264,"date":"2021-06-15T13:21:32","date_gmt":"2021-06-15T13:21:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2021\/06\/15\/childline-dimapur-organises-online-activities\/"},"modified":"2021-06-15T13:21:32","modified_gmt":"2021-06-15T13:21:32","slug":"childline-dimapur-organises-online-activities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2021\/06\/15\/childline-dimapur-organises-online-activities\/","title":{"rendered":"CHILDLINE Dimapur organises online activities"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/http:\/\/new.nagalandpost.com\/cms\/gall_content\/no_images_650x.jpg><\/p>\n<p>With an aim to provide a platform for children and parents to invest their time productively, CHILDLINE Dimapur conducted a series of online contest \/activities for children based on the theme &ldquo;plastic waste to life&rdquo;.<\/p>\n<div>The contest was categorised into different age groups and was conducted on various days between May 16 and June 5.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>The event was coordinated by interns, Shalu Kumari and Shania Singhania Agarwal, students of Christ Deemed to be University, Bengaluru.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>On the first day, a session on ways and techniques of reducing, reusing and recycling single use plastics by creatively turning used plastic bottles and containers into planters, pen-stands and boxes was held.<\/div>\n<div>They were also taught how to decorate their models using acrylic paints, old clothes, wool and thread.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>On the following days, children participated in free hands painting and the participants were asked to plant tree saplings.<\/div>\n<div>An essay writing competition was held for the age group of 11-16 years on the theme &lsquo;&lsquo;plastic waste management&rdquo;.
