Khutolu Wotsa on Tuesday at Philimi village ground.&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">In his address, Wotsa pointed out that people in the society were often individualistic, and therefore there was urgent need to support and uplift each other so that society progress in unity.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">He also told the students that education and wisdom were like two sides of the same coin and advised students to pursue education keeping in mind the importance of wisdom in their life.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">Quoting an anonymous speaker, Khutolu emphasized on the meaningful statement, \u2018Education is Wisdom\u2019s helper.\u2019 He said no matter the degree of qualification one had, it would be rendered less useful if wisdom was to remain void from the degree holder.&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">He told the students to actively play their part along with village leaders, Church leaders and social leaders. He also encouraged the village members inhabiting various towns to excel in their own fields and bring laurels to the village.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">Kukamis (GBs) of Philimi village, Pitovi and Vilhozu Wotsa also addressed the gathering. The chief guest who was accompanied by a host of officers and elders later declared the games and sports session open.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">In the evening session, the Chief Guest spoke on the theme, \u2018Self Evaluation to Cope with the Changing World.\u2019 He asked the students to introspect if their mindset had remained dormant for the pat many years and added that attitude and mindset had to positively change and match with the progressing society. Khutolu urged the students to continue giving importance to their theme even after the annual session.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">The annual session will culminate on December 20 with Lukheto Shohe, Development Officer NKVIB, Mokokchung as the speaker.<\/span><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Inaugural programme of the of the 49th annual session Philimi Students\u2019 Union (PSU) was graced by S.
