PRO said the initiative by the Spear Corps was symbolic of the genuine concern and its close association with the people of Nagaland.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">Severe damage to the existing bridge at 4th Mile across the Chathe river on July 11 this year has severely disrupted normal life of locals living in the area of Niuland. Disruption of communication caused immense inconvenience and hardships for the population of over 100 villages who regularly used the bridge for their daily commute, especially the students and local traders.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">It was under such circumstances that the civil administration, several local communities and civil society organisations, including Naga Ex-servicemen Association headed by retired Col. S. Rengma, approached GOC 3 Corps, Lt. Gen.
