{"id":233432,"date":"2021-07-04T13:05:59","date_gmt":"2021-07-04T13:05:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2021\/07\/04\/petrol-price-crosses-rs-100-in-8-districts\/"},"modified":"2021-07-04T13:05:59","modified_gmt":"2021-07-04T13:05:59","slug":"petrol-price-crosses-rs-100-in-8-districts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2021\/07\/04\/petrol-price-crosses-rs-100-in-8-districts\/","title":{"rendered":"Petrol price crosses Rs.100 in 8 districts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/2021_7$large_fugle.jpg><\/p>\n<p>Petrol price on Sunday crossed Rs. 100 a litre mark in two more districts&#8211; Longleng and Mokokchung&mdash;after state-owned oil marketing companies (OMCs) increased prices of petrol and diesel by 35 paise per litre and 18 paise a litre respectively.<\/p>\n<p>With the latest hike, petrol price has now breached Rs.100 mark in eight districts of Nagaland&mdash;Tuensang, Kiphire, Noklak, Mon, Zunheboto, Phek, Longleng and Mokokchung&mdash;in Nagaland.<\/p>\n<p>The hike on Sunday is the 34th increase in price of petrol and 33rd in case of diesel since May 4 this year.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In 34 hikes, the price of petrol has risen by Rs 9.11 per litre while diesel rates have soared by Rs 8.63 a litre in 33 hikes.<\/p>\n<p>Fuel prices differ from state to state depending on the incidence of local taxes such as value-added tax (VAT) and freight charges.<\/p>\n<p>Oil companies revise rates of petrol and diesel daily based on the average price of benchmark fuel in the international market in the preceding 15 days, and foreign exchange rates.<\/p>\n<p>International oil prices have climbed in recent weeks on optimism of a quick recovery in fuel demand.
