{"id":235185,"date":"2021-08-28T13:51:09","date_gmt":"2021-08-28T13:51:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2021\/08\/28\/discussions-on-ftas-with-several-countries-progressing-fast-union-min\/"},"modified":"2021-08-28T13:51:09","modified_gmt":"2021-08-28T13:51:09","slug":"discussions-on-ftas-with-several-countries-progressing-fast-union-min","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2021\/08\/28\/discussions-on-ftas-with-several-countries-progressing-fast-union-min\/","title":{"rendered":"Discussions on FTAs with several  countries progressing fast: Union min"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/http:\/\/new.nagalandpost.com\/cms\/gall_content\/no_images_650x.jpg><\/p>\n<p>India is fast progressing in discussions with several countries for Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), Union Minister Piyush Goyal has said.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, India is in discussions on FTAs with several countries including the UK, UAE and GCC countries, Australia and European Union.<\/p>\n<p>The Union Minister of Commerce &amp; Industry, Consumer Affairs &amp; Food &amp; Public Distribution and Textiles cited that India and US have agreed to aspire for $500 billion trade in near future.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, while addressing the business and trade fraternity through the platform of Jain International Trade Organisation (JITO), he noted that recently India emerged as the world&rsquo;s second most desirable manufacturing destination overtaking the US.<\/p>\n<p>The minister pointed out that the trend showed the potential and promise of India to become the &ldquo;manufacturing hub&rdquo; of the world.<\/p>\n<p>He asserted that along with becoming the &ldquo;manufacturing hub&rdquo;, India should also become a &ldquo;trading hub&rdquo;.<\/p>\n<p>According to Goyal, every growth parameter is showing an extremely &ldquo;exciting future for all of us&rdquo;.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Whether it is FDI, forex reserves, foodgrain reserves, agriculture production, manufacturing, all sectors are on a growth path.
