He said that it was pertinent to imbibe the basics of agricultural sustainability in young students as it provided livelihood, food sufficiency and a healthy way of life among many other positive aspects.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Dr. Frank also underscored the benefits of incorporating organic agriculture through the use of organic manures. He said that the traditional mode of farming in Nagaland with minimal use of chemical fertilizers could be pursued as a strong base for setting up of organic farms throughout the length and breadth of the state.<\/div>\n<div>The Global Premier &amp; Organic Tea and Bio Dynamic &amp; Tropical Agriculture, Swaraj (Rajah) Banerjee and chairman of Makaibari Tea Estate &amp; Tea Classic highlighted about Nagaland\u2019s potentials in organic farming as it has rich eco-diversity and praised the chairman of LFHSS for taking initiative to make organic agriculture viable in the remotest corners of Nagaland.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Chairman of LFHSS, Andrew Ahoto also expressed gratitude to all the invited guests for making the seminar a fruitful one.&nbsp; Earlier, invocation prayer said by director junior high LFHSS, Ani Yepthomi, welcome address by head of Academics, Prabhat Mandal, felicitation of guests by Andrew Ahoto and special number \u201cSecrets\u201d was presented by Duangaimeilu Panmei of grade-XII Arts.&nbsp;<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Livingstone Foundation Higher Secondary School (LFHSS) conducted one-day seminar-cum-interaction session on \u201csustainable agriculture\u201d on December 4.
