The meeting was chaired by vice chairman DPDB &amp; DC Wokha, Orenthung Lotha.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>According to a DIPR report, the board discussed the registration of Care Educational and Welfare Society and proposal for upgrading of Health &amp; Welfare Care, Merapani to Primary Health Care Centre (PHC).<\/p>\n<p>Both agenda were recommended and forwarded to the higher authority for consideration. Meanwhile, rural development, agriculture and forest departments presented departmental activities in the district. While speaking at the meeting, advisor IT, S&amp;T, NRE, Mmhonlumo acknowledged the departments for presenting a comprehensive presentation on activities in the district and urged them to implement all the programmes and policies in letter and spirit. The board also welcomed new members, district commandant HG&amp;CD Ngongvai E. Phom; DYRO &amp; DSO, K. Libemo Jami and AE, CAWD Daniel H. Lotha while chief medical officer (CMO), Wokha Dr. W.T presented the district COVID-19 status. The board also read out pledge on celebration on the birth of girl child to promote equality between boys and girls. The meeting was also attended by MLA, Dr. Chumben Murry.
