{"id":240473,"date":"2021-10-15T14:38:41","date_gmt":"2021-10-15T14:38:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2021\/10\/15\/training-on-hiv-syphilis-screening\/"},"modified":"2021-10-15T14:38:41","modified_gmt":"2021-10-15T14:38:41","slug":"training-on-hiv-syphilis-screening","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2021\/10\/15\/training-on-hiv-syphilis-screening\/","title":{"rendered":"Training on HIV, Syphilis screening"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/2021_10$large_Trg_of_ANMs_&#038;_CHOs.jpg><\/p>\n<p>Nagaland State AIDS Control Society (NSACS), basic service division organsied an induction training of ANMs and CHOs on HIV and syphilis screening from October 6-8 in Phek and Kiphire.<\/p>\n<p>In a press release, NSACS informed that resource person for the training included NSACS deputy director Dr. M. Nukshisangla Jamir, Share India project officer Dr. Puleno Kennao and consultant Vikehiel Thapo and lab technicians of ICTC, Phek and Kiphire.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The objective of the training was to capacitate nurses on HIV and syphilis testing and provide services to all pregnant women and the general population at grassroots level.<\/p>\n<p>During the training, nurses were imparted on the importance of early testing, linkage and treatment through &ldquo;Prevention of Parent to Child Transmission&rdquo; (PPTCT) services and Community based Screening (CBS).<\/p>\n<p>Hands on training on whole blood finger prick test on HIV and syphilis testing was also demonstrated to the trainees.<\/p>\n<p>Altogether, 49 nurses from Phek and 21 from Kiphire district attended the training.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Training on HIV, Syphilis screening<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[679],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-240473","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-nagaland-news"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/240473","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=240473"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/240473\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=240473"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=240473"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=240473"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
