{"id":240998,"date":"2021-10-30T14:49:45","date_gmt":"2021-10-30T14:49:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2021\/10\/30\/petrol-diesel-prices-hiked-again-reach-record-high\/"},"modified":"2021-10-30T14:49:45","modified_gmt":"2021-10-30T14:49:45","slug":"petrol-diesel-prices-hiked-again-reach-record-high","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2021\/10\/30\/petrol-diesel-prices-hiked-again-reach-record-high\/","title":{"rendered":"Petrol, diesel prices hiked again; reach record high"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/2021_10$large_protfutle.jpg><\/p>\n<p>State-owned oil marketing companies (OMCs) increased the prices of petrol and diesel for the fourth consecutive day on Saturday offering no respite to fuel consumers.<\/p>\n<p>According to a price notification of the OMCs, the prices of petrol and diesel were hiked by 35 paise per litre each pushing the rates to record high levels across the country.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>After the latest rate revision, diesel has crossed the Rs.100-a-litre mark in all the districts in the state except Dimapur where it was retailing at Rs.99.88 per litre. (See table)<\/p>\n<p>While petrol has already hit the Rs.100-a-litre mark or more in most of the states, diesel has touched that level in over one-and-a-half dozen states and UTs. Petrol and diesel prices differ from state to state depending on the incidence of value-added tax (VAT).<\/p>\n<p>OMCs revise the fuel rates on a daily basis, by taking into account the crude oil prices in the international markets, and the rupee-dollar exchange rates.
