 Photo-37c from the exhibition gallery, shot by Longso Yimkhiung won the Hip-Fest photography 2021 contest, which was declared December 2 (second day of the Hornbill Festival) at Kisama. Inakavi Kasho and Parvej Akhtar were placed as the second and third position respectively.<\/p>\n

The winner of the competition will be awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 25,000, the second and the third will receive a cash award of Rs 20,000 and 15,000 respectively. Nine consolation prize winners were also declared with cash prize of Rs. 5000 each and in addition a “Viewer Choice” will be selected from the spectator which will be declared on the 7th day of the festival.<\/p>\n

Photographer Kekhriezhazo Machieo, Freelance Merimvu Doulo and media officer to the chief minister, Ayieno Kechü, judged the Hip-Fest 2021 photography contest.<\/p>\n

The Hip-Fest is organised by the department of Information & Public Relations (IPR) in collaboration with Eastern Art Council.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
