 Following the completion of reigning Miss Nagaland Vikuonuo Sachu’s 12 district good will charity programme under theme “Livelihood generation and education” along with “empowering the well-being of women and youth”, a documentary and a coffee table book entitled “Nagaland I know” was released at Hotel Japfu (Dzukou Hall) Kohima.<\/p>\n

The project involved the district administration providing awareness on Covid vaccination over rural areas.<\/p>\n

The special guest of the programme was advisor IT, Mmhonlümo Kikon and other special invites include Dr. Neikiesalie Kire, Khriehu Liezietsu, Medo Yokha, Lithrongla.<\/p>\n

Mmhonlümo Kikon while speaking on the occasion said that the position ‘Miss Nagaland’ should be honoured and respected however the honour and dignity of the title should be well carried by the reigning Miss Nagaland and added that it was the responsibility of her to take it to another level.<\/p>\n

The advisor said “during this social media era, everyone is being well watched by the society at microscopic level and that when they talk about role model, she should be very serious and that today we need a role model to look at for inspiration”.<\/p>\n

Speaking during the release of the magazine, Vikuonuo Sachu said that she was very much privileged being back to the place she started from. She recalled on how she gave the Miss Nagaland audition.<\/p>\n

She said when she was first crowned as Miss Nagaland in the year 2019, she felt it was a huge responsibility for her to carry. She was sure about the vision she had and the things she wanted to do for her people and that’s what made her initiate the project.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
