Robbie Williams is hoping to go on tour at the end of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The 47-year-old singer – who had to cut his Las Vegas residency at Wynn Las Vegas\u2019 Encore Theatre short in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic – is keen to get back on the road, but admits he wouldn\u2019t be surprised if COVID hit hard again later this winter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said: \u201cHopefully I\u2019m going to go on tour at the end of this year.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBut you see how this year has gone\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI think every summer we\u2019re going to think it\u2019s over and then every winter it\u2019s going to come back\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cEvery time I\u2019ve had a guess that this is going to be over I\u2019ve been completely wrong.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Robbie admitted the pandemic has been \u201cterrifying\u201d, and he longs to get back on stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a new interview in the US, he added: \u201cIt\u2019s terrifying for many, many reasons but personally and selfishly I haven\u2019t been able to gig, I haven\u2019t been able to do a tour.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A source added to The Sun newspaper\u2019s Bizarre column: \u201cRobbie\u2019s dream of getting back out on the road is something he wants to make a reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThis year could be tough, but knowing Robbie, anything is possible.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Robbie performed 16 dates at the Wynn Las Vegas\u2019 Encore Theatre in 2019 and was due to return for more in 2020 until COVID struck. The pop star was planning to take on board some of the feedback he had received from fans following his initial shows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking in March 2020, he said: \u201cPeople have come to the show and said, \u2018There\u2019s not enough Robbie Williams songs!\u2019 So it\u2019s a dilemma. And I hear them and I get it. So I\u2019m adding a few more Robbie Williams songs this time around, because I am Robbie Williams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
