{"id":246573,"date":"2022-01-23T14:51:49","date_gmt":"2022-01-23T09:21:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nagalandpost.com\/?p=246573"},"modified":"2022-01-23T14:52:00","modified_gmt":"2022-01-23T09:22:00","slug":"sac-asked-to-share-field-experience-for-action-plan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2022\/01\/23\/sac-asked-to-share-field-experience-for-action-plan\/","title":{"rendered":"SAC asked to share field experience for action plan"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> Members of Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) have been asked to share technical guidance based on their field experiences in framing the action plan for Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK).<br>This was stated by senior scientist &amp; head, Dr. Keviletsu Khate while delivering keynote address at 17th SAC meeting of KVK Mokokchung on January 21.<br>Apart from SAC members, the meeting was also attended by HODs of Agri and allied department, lead bank, AIR and progressive farmers.<br>ACTO Agronomy, Tokiho Achumi, who presented a slide show of the proposed action plan of KVK for 2022-23, held an interaction and deliberation. During the interaction SAC members gave valuable feedbacks like inclusion of ITKs in pest management, increase of cropping year in jhum through inclusion of legume crops in third year jhum, post-harvest management in vegetables, promotion of green manuring crop like dhaincha, collaborative work in conducting OFT as well as FLD etc.<br>In conclusion, joint director SARS, Temsuienla Jamir encouraged the KVK team to work hard to uplift the farming communities and also requested the line departments to support each other to bring about sustainable farming.
