{"id":251052,"date":"2022-02-14T02:20:27","date_gmt":"2022-02-13T20:50:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nagalandpost.com\/?p=251052"},"modified":"2022-02-14T02:20:30","modified_gmt":"2022-02-13T20:50:30","slug":"awareness-on-hiv-tb-and-blood-donation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2022\/02\/14\/awareness-on-hiv-tb-and-blood-donation\/","title":{"rendered":"Awareness on \u2018HIV, TB and blood donation\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of celebration to commemorate 75 years of Indian Independence day and as per directives of National AIDS Control Organization, government of India, Nagaland State AIDS Control Society (NSACS) conducted awareness programme on \u201cHIV, TB and Blood Donation\u201d at Modern Institute of Teacher Education (MITE), Kohima on February 11.<br>A press release by principal, MITE, Dr. Kate Dandesh Kumar, stated that at the programme, DPO DAPCU, Sentimongla Tzudir highlighted the causes and problems of HIV and the different stages of HIV and AIDS, ways of transmission, preventive measures etc.<br>She suggested ABC (Abstinence, Be faithful to your sex partners, and\/or use a Condom) of prevention as the vital way for AIDS control.
