Two-day in-house training-cum-interactive session for the drivers, grade-IV staff of directorate of School Education got underway Tuesday at its directorate. <\/span><\/div>\n
Speaking at the inaugural function director school education Wonthungo Tsopoe reminded the responsibility bestowed upon the drivers in carrying the life of an officer and appealed the drivers to be sincere in their profession.<\/div>\n
He said drivers were responsible for their officers and informed on the importance of cleanliness. He also reminded that drivers were expected to inform their respective officers about the vehicle condition so that life of both the officer and driver\u2019s life would not be put at risk.<\/div>\n
The director also appealed the drivers and the Grade IV staff to take advantage of the training programme and learn new things and exuded confidence that the training would bring positive impact. Additional director Razouseyi Vese in his concluding remark said of all the employees, the responsibility of the drivers was even more heavier since they were carrying someone\u2019s life.<\/div>\n
He appealed the drivers to know their responsibility reminding that in many cases, most of the troubles were one\u2019s own creation due to negligence.<\/div>\n
Vese urged the drivers to set exemplary life to the department and also not to tarnish the image of the department. He informed that scale and regularization would be based on the performance of the drivers and not on seniority basis. He also stated that a proposal was already made to set up recreational room for the drivers. Resource persons for training session included consultant G.
