{"id":255724,"date":"2022-03-12T03:22:57","date_gmt":"2022-03-11T21:52:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nagalandpost.com\/?p=255724"},"modified":"2022-03-12T03:22:58","modified_gmt":"2022-03-11T21:52:58","slug":"awareness-for-women-on-nsap","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2022\/03\/12\/awareness-for-women-on-nsap\/","title":{"rendered":"Awareness for women on NSAP"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">DIMAPUR: In commemoration of 75 years of India\u2019s Independence \u201cBharat ka Amrut Mahotsav\u201d, an awareness programme for women beneficiaries under National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP) on the theme \u201cGender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow\u201d was held at Ongpangkong Salang, Mokokchung on March 11.<br>According to DIPR report, the programme was organized by District Welfare Office Mokokchung.<br>Speaking on the topic \u201cGender Equality and Women Rights\u201d, guest speaker Molusen Imchen from MDLSA maintained that basic human rights have been provided to every individual irrespective of gender but social evils and discrimination in society mostly affect women.<br>In order to remove discrimination, the Government of India has formulated various schemes and laws to assist women.
