{"id":25677,"date":"2017-10-25T00:14:08","date_gmt":"2017-10-25T00:14:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2017\/10\/25\/annual-cake-mixing-ceremony-at-goun\/"},"modified":"2017-10-25T00:14:08","modified_gmt":"2017-10-25T00:14:08","slug":"annual-cake-mixing-ceremony-at-goun","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2017\/10\/25\/annual-cake-mixing-ceremony-at-goun\/","title":{"rendered":"Annual cake mixing ceremony at GOUN"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/><\/p>\n<div>Department of Hotel Management, Global Open University Nagaland (GOUN) organised \u201cannual cake mixing ceremony\u201d On October 20 which brought alive the rich tradition and unveiled the spirit of the festive season.<\/div>\n<div>According to PRO GOUN, while spreading the cheer along with the chef (faculties) of the department, the programme invited the participation of Director\/Registrar, GOUN, Dr. Imotemsu Ao and other administrative staffs of the university.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>The participants dressed in typical chef attire of hats and aprons amidst tradition and fanfare and together rolled up their sleeves and put their hands in the mixing pots to make the \u201cperfect Christmas cake\u201d.<\/div>\n<div>PRO informed that after the traditional cake mixing ceremony, the mixture was put into airtight bags and left to mature until around Christmas, when it will be blended with the cake batter and baked.
