Office of the Senior Treasury Officer (STO) has notified pensioners drawing pension from Kohima North Treasury, that the annual physical verification for the current year 2022 has been scheduled on the following dates \u2013 family pensioners w.e.f. June 6-13 and life pensioners w.e.f. June 14-28 from 9:30 a.m. onwards.
In a press release, STO Kohima, Limatemsu has informed that there would be no further extension for physical verification beyond the notified dates and that there would be no pension payment from the month of June 2022 without the pensioners\u2019 physical verification.
STO has informed that verified and unverified pension was to be compiled and forwarded to Directorate of Treasuries & Accounts, Nagaland, Kohima by July 30, 2022. In this regard, STO has asked all concerned pensioners to check their book serial numbers and date in the notice board and come for verification on the allotted dates. For those pensioners who are unable to come for the physical verification due to reasons such as bed-ridden illnesses, STO has asked them to submit their home address with contact numbers, whereby an officer would be sent to verify.
Meanwhile, STO has asked pensioners to come with the following documents for verification – PPO books, life certificates duly attested and ID card issued by pensioners association.
