Advisor, prisons, printing and stationery, H. Haiying Friday inaugurated bailey bridge at Luvei Mong, Langnok Village Road and a community hall at Langnok Village.
According to DIPR report, Haiying urged the villagers to know their responsibility and learn to live in unity. He also requested the people to take care of government facilities and take ownership of the infrastructures.
Haiying further advised the people to work hard and sought cooperation for more development in the days to come.
In his speech, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Noklak, Hiazu Meru said the government was giving importance to the border district and villages. In this regard, Meru advised the VCC, GBs, VGs, and village elders to control and check the illegal activities such as transportation of intoxicating substances.
The DC also appreciated the advisor for the timely construction of the long-awaited bailey bridge and the community hall.
District planning officer, Noklak Meren Jamir and Mandal president, Peshen also spoke at the occasion. The keynote address was delivered by Hd. GB Langnok Khonglai while the vote of thanks was delivered by VCC Langnok Pengchang.
