{"id":27292,"date":"2017-09-29T00:00:48","date_gmt":"2017-09-29T00:00:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2017\/09\/29\/mtc-conducts-faculty-development-programme\/"},"modified":"2017-09-29T00:00:48","modified_gmt":"2017-09-29T00:00:48","slug":"mtc-conducts-faculty-development-programme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2017\/09\/29\/mtc-conducts-faculty-development-programme\/","title":{"rendered":"MTC conducts faculty development programme"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/>One day faculty development programme on innovative teaching methods &amp; ICT in teaching-learning process was conducted by Internal Quality Assessment Committee (IQAC) of Mount Tiyi College (MTC) Wokha on September 26. <br \/>\nA press statement by MTC Wokha stated that the resource persons for the programme were SCTE Kohima assistant professor, Dr. Bendangyapangla and SET, NU, Dimapur campus, assistant professor, Sourav Hazarika. <br \/>\nDuring the first session, Dr. Bendangyapangla gave a presentation on the topic \u201cinnovative teaching practices\u201d and highlighted the major factors that affect learners. <br \/>\nIn the second session on \u201cICT in teaching-learning process\u201d, Sourav Hazarika discussed the various uses of ICT in classrooms and how to incorporate it in developing modern pedagogy. <br \/>\nThe sessions were moderated by HoD of Education, Sentimenla Jamir and HoD of Economics, Dr. K.Z.
