{"id":283471,"date":"2022-07-26T14:26:00","date_gmt":"2022-07-26T08:56:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nagalandpost.com\/?p=283471"},"modified":"2022-07-26T19:04:42","modified_gmt":"2022-07-26T13:34:42","slug":"nagaland-in-service-doctors-association-keeps-agitation-in-abeyance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2022\/07\/26\/nagaland-in-service-doctors-association-keeps-agitation-in-abeyance\/","title":{"rendered":"Nagaland In-Service Doctors\u2019 Association keeps agitation in abeyance"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nagaland In-Service Doctors\u2019 Association (NIDA) has decided to keep the agitation in abeyance till further notice.<br>NIDA through its media cell said the decision arrived after its core committee on superannuation had detailed deliberations on the issue.<br>Besides, NIDA said that the rise in Covid and Monkeypox cases and ongoing negotiation with government has made core committee to \u201carrive at this unpleasant decision keeping in mind public health interests.\u201d<br>However, the association said that the demand for 62 years for all with no other criteria for medical officers would continue.<br>In this regard, Nagaland In-Service Doctors\u2019 Association has appealed to the state cabinet to review its earlier decision on the superannuation issue to avoid further confrontations.<br>Meanwhile, the association has expressed gratitude to various organisations for their unstinted support to its \u201clegitimate demand.\u201d<br>It may be recalled that chief minister Neiphiu Rio, while acknowledging that people had the right to voice for their demand, recently said that the government would examine and take a decision on the matter.
