Nagaland Medical Students\u2019 Union Bihar (NMSUB) organised a free medical camp at Khoksa village, Bihar in collaboration with Patna Mission Field, Presbyterian of India on July 29.
In a press release, NMSUB office informed that the medical camp was organised in commemoration of its third general conference and the necessity to promote healthcare facilities in rural areas of Bihar.
During a short programme, Dr. Nyemwang W Konyak acknowledged Patna Mission Field for providing platform to the union to carry out the camp.
Altogether, 157 patients availed medical facilities and free medicines.
The medical team comprised of three specialist doctors, three interns, 22 medical students, one nurse and several non-medical volunteers.
The camp was led by senior resident, psychiatry, ANMMCH, Gaya, Bihar-Dr Takum Mokholee, senior resident, surgery NMCH, Patna Bihar-Dr Nyemwang W Konyak, PG, Anesthesia, IGIMS, Patna-Dr Manom Konyak and Longzochang Imchen.
Screening for NCD, free check-ups, consultations, counselling and awareness on various health issues were also carried out.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
