The CSOs launched agitation against the failure to resume construction of N-M road (NH-702).<br>In a press release, Konyak Union Tizit unit president T Wangdun Konyak and Tizit Area Students\u2019 Union president James Konyak stated that the concern contractor has \u201cwilfully complied\u201d with the demand made by Tizit CSOs and have resumed the work along NH-702.<br>CSOs had decided to launch phase-II agitation after the contractor failed to resume construction work on NH-702.Tizit CSOs had cautioned that the bandh would not be withdraw until the work resumed in full swing.<br>During phase-I agitation, Tizit CSOs imposed the \u201cchaka bandh\u201d along N-M road (NH-702) on July 30, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.<br>Extending support to Tizit CSOs, Konyak Union Mon Branch said that in spite of repeated appeals for completion of the work, the contractors remained \u201coblivious to the situation on ground\u201d and paid no heed to the administration or NGOs.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tizit civil society organisations (CSOs), which launched \u201cindefinite bandh\u201d on NH-702 starting 6am of August 1, as part of its phase-II agitation, have temporarily called off the bandh.
