{"id":28894,"date":"2017-09-06T23:51:38","date_gmt":"2017-09-06T23:51:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2017\/09\/06\/npf-central-flays-impersonation-of-its-president\/"},"modified":"2017-09-06T23:51:38","modified_gmt":"2017-09-06T23:51:38","slug":"npf-central-flays-impersonation-of-its-president","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2017\/09\/06\/npf-central-flays-impersonation-of-its-president\/","title":{"rendered":"NPF central flays \u2018impersonation\u2019 of its president"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/><\/p>\n<div>Naga People\u2019s Front (NPF), central headquarters, has sharply condemned what it called the \u201cimpersonation\u201d of its president, Dr. Sh\u00fcrhozelie Liezietsu, by Lok Sabha MP and former chief minister, Neiphiu Rio, and attending the 2nd Conclave of the North East Democratic Alliance (NEDA) in New Delhi on September 5, 2017.<\/div>\n<div>NPF central headquarters through its Media &amp; Press Bureau (M&amp;PB) stated that the \u201cshameless and unmitigated insolence of the former chief minister in projecting himself as a person he is not at the national level, and the gall and temerity he has to impersonate the president of the NPF, is obnoxious, revolting and incredible.\u201d<\/div>\n<div>NPF media &amp; press bureau alleged that Neiphiu Rio, after demitting the office of the chief minister in 2014, appeared to have been \u201csuffering from an endless bout of delirium replete with hallucination with a large dose of fantasy added regularly.\u201d<\/div>\n<div>Further, alleging that Rio also seemed to have \u201camnesia\u201d, the NPF central media &amp; press bureau said if he could remember his experience of 2015, Noke Wangnao would have been the president of the NPF if majority of legislators of the party were competent enough to appoint the president of the political party they belong to; and Kaito Aye would have been the chief minister with Kuzholuzo Nienu as the chief whip of the NPF if majority of the legislators had the authority to elect the whip of the political party they belong to.<\/div>\n<div>The M&amp;PB further &nbsp;went on to remind Rio that the NPF Central party was a responsible political party duly registered with the Election Commission of India (ECI) and functions according to laid down Constitutional norms, and not at one\u2019s whims and fancies.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>It stated that the office bearers of the party, including the president, were appointed according to the provisions of the constitution of the party.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>As far as the party and Election Commission of India were concerned, M&amp;PB said the NPF president was Dr. Sh\u00fcrhozelie Liezietsu and \u201cnot a charlatan unable to decide whether he is of the Democratic Progress Party or would like to cling on to the political party from which he has been suspended.\u201d<\/div>\n<div>NPF central also stated that the \u201cunconstitutional government\u201d headed by TR Zeliang was on borrowed time and surviving through the \u201cmercy and largesse\u201d of the BJP government at the Centre.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>However, NPF said that the Courts of Law would not be so generous because of the \u201cflagrant violations of rules and procedures\u201d the Nagaland Legislative Assembly, Speaker and Nagaland Governor resorted to in their hurry to install the TR Zeliang government.<\/div>\n<div>NPF central alleged that the \u201cunholy duo\u201d of TR Zeliang and Rio, having failed to convince the legislators supporting them to merge with the BJP, may not find it \u201cvery comfortable to convince the BJP High Command that everything is honky dory.\u201d It stated that the \u201cbigger charade\u201d they had to pull off \u2013 convincing the Courts that \u201cthey can fool everyone all the time\u201d \u2013 lay ahead of them in the weeks to come.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Naga People\u2019s Front (NPF), central headquarters, has sharply condemned what it called the \u201cimpersonation\u201d of its president, Dr. Sh\u00fcrhozelie Liezietsu, by Lok Sabha MP and former chief minister, Neiphiu Rio, and attending the 2nd Conclave of the North East Democratic Alliance (NEDA) in New Delhi on September 5, 2017.
