{"id":28931,"date":"2017-09-05T00:13:25","date_gmt":"2017-09-05T00:13:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2017\/09\/05\/organisations-condemn-death-of-taxi-driver\/"},"modified":"2017-09-05T00:13:25","modified_gmt":"2017-09-05T00:13:25","slug":"organisations-condemn-death-of-taxi-driver","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2017\/09\/05\/organisations-condemn-death-of-taxi-driver\/","title":{"rendered":"Organisations condemn death of taxi driver"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/><\/p>\n<div>State BJP has vehemently condemned the \u201cbarbaric and heinous crime\u201d committed on its member and party president of the Phulomi village BJP Local Area Committee, Swuduve Nakhro on Sunday at Chiechema, on the way to Wokha.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>A condemnation note by BJP Nagaland general secretary (media) Jaangsillung Gonmei stated that the entire BJP fraternity was greatly shocked to learn that such crime of carjacking at the cost of innocent lives existed in the state, whereby exposing the vulnerability of the common people in their day to day existence.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>State BJP therefore has demanded for a thorough investigation into the incident and book the criminals immediately and ensure justice for restoring security, peace and development. It also demanded that the police be equipped with advanced equipments and measures for prevention of criminal activities including forensic and other investigative tools.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Stating that recurrences of such incidences also called for the overhauling of the policing and justice system, the state BJP expressed its view that such criminal acts persisted because the criminals were not booked on time and complete justice does not prevail.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>State BJP workers stated that late Nakhro\u2019s contributions to the party would always be remembered while it also condole the family and prayed for departed soul.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>EA: Entrepreneurs Associates (EA) in a condemnation note by members of EA management team described late Swuduve as a sincere and hardworking member of EA since 2010. He served in the capacity of Mithun Project Field coordinator, Pholami Village from Sept 2012 to Sept 2015 and was the chairman of the Pholami Mithun Farmers\u2019 Club and recently moved to Kohima with his family to provide better education for his 5 children, stated the EA management team.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Such crimes and murders can be reduced if there are proper surveillance and CCTV coverage in the main public spaces across Kohima town and other urban areas of Nagaland. Such security measures undertaken by the Police and Administration will go a long way in making the lives of ordinary citizens much more secure and safer.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>EA has urged the government to put in place security measures as CCTV coverage immediately so that the law enforcing agencies would have better tracking systems against crimes ensuring citizens lives more safe in our towns. While condemning the ghastly murder and theft of a brand new Alto 800 Taxi belonging to late Swuduve, EA earnestly requested the law enforcing agencies to swiftly arrest the murderers and deliver justice at the earliest, as justice delayed is justice denied.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>CPO: Chakhesang Public Organisation (CPO) in a condemnation note by general secretary, Mutsivoyi Kotso has appealed the law enforcing agencies to make all efforts and bring the culprits to book at any cost. CPO has appealed public to come forward with any information no matter how trivial it may be. CPO also expressed deepest condolences and sympathy to the bereaved family and pray that God give them strength and solace in their grief.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>PTLTU: The Phek Town Local Taxi Union (PTLTU) in a condemnation note by its president Vepor Tenenu and general secretary Ronal Dukru has asked the ANTA (All Nagaland Taxi Association) that \u201cno stone should be left unturned to punish the guilty and for justice to prevail\u201d.
