{"id":29440,"date":"2017-08-11T00:07:53","date_gmt":"2017-08-11T00:07:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2017\/08\/11\/amenba-encourages-youths-to-take-up-manual-works\/"},"modified":"2017-08-11T00:07:53","modified_gmt":"2017-08-11T00:07:53","slug":"amenba-encourages-youths-to-take-up-manual-works","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2017\/08\/11\/amenba-encourages-youths-to-take-up-manual-works\/","title":{"rendered":"Amenba encourages youths to take up manual works"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/PKEUGBMUAIAPOFWFKYPO.jpg><\/p>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Parliamentary secretary, Amenba Yaden while expressing concern over deteriorating work culture in Naga society has encouraged youths to take up manual works to decrease employment problem in Nagaland.<\/span><\/div>\n<div>He was speaking at the inaugural function of capacity building scheme under Ministry of DoNER, government of India at Nagaland Tool Room and Training Centre (NTTC) Dimapur on Thursday.<\/div>\n<div>Encouraging unemployed youths to opt for alternative profession than government jobs, he said \u201cNagas should replace non-locals who work at construction sites and other trades.\u201d &nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>On unemployment problem in Nagaland, the parliamentary secretary said \u201c\u201cEvery year, the state generates thousand of bright students, yet we do not have an initiative to keep opportunities open for them, and this is the very problem we face today.\u201d<\/div>\n<div>Though there are opportunities in other parts of the country, Amenba lamented that the young people tend to make way to the top with much difficulty.<\/div>\n<div>To create more employment opportunities in the state, the parliamentary secretary encouraged NTTC to impart quality training to trainees so as to benefit the state.<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;Also speaking in the programme, NTTC principal, Er. Petehetuo Miasalhou, informed that the Ministry of skill development and entrepreneurships, government of India and the national skill development council has selected NTTC Dimapur to be an implementing agency in the skill development for north east states. Er. Petehetuo also thanked state government for making NTTC a successful centre for skill development.<\/div>\n<div>He said that the centre has been working hard and making arrangements with various job agencies, employers and organisations outside Nagaland.<\/div>\n<div>In a short speech, additional director, department of industries and commerce, Temsulong Jamir extolled NTTC for skilling youths and enhancing their potentials. The programme was chaired NTTC, Dimapur, vice principal, Er. Ebipeni Ezung, solo and special song was presented by DTDM and CB-NER trainees respectively and vote of thanks was delivered by Er.
