{"id":297377,"date":"2022-09-19T01:54:35","date_gmt":"2022-09-18T20:24:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nagalandpost.com\/?p=297377"},"modified":"2022-09-19T01:54:38","modified_gmt":"2022-09-18T20:24:38","slug":"nscn-i-m-delegation-off-to-delhi-for-resumption-of-talks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2022\/09\/19\/nscn-i-m-delegation-off-to-delhi-for-resumption-of-talks\/","title":{"rendered":"NSCN (I-M) delegation off to Delhi for resumption of talks"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">NSCN (I-M) delegation will be leaving for Delhi on Monday to hold talks with Government of India officials including Centre\u2019s representative AK Mishra.<br>Sources informed Nagaland Post that around seven to ten NSCN (I-M) delegation led by member collective leadership VS Atem will leave for Delhi on Monday and hold talks with Mishra and other officials on Tuesday (September 20). The talks may likely go on for two-three days, sources said.<br>As reported, UDA chairman TR Zeliang on Saturday informed that the NSCN (I-M) agreed to resume talks after the Core Committee on Nagaland Political Issue (CCoNPI) had made the request. Talking to media persons after the meeting between CCoNPI and the NSCN (I-M), Zeliang said NSCN (I-M) agreed to resume talks on the condition that \u201cthe talks should be based on the Framework Agreement and the formulation papers submitted by both RN Ravi and AK Mishra altogether.\u201d<br>Zeliang said NSCN (I-M)\u2019s contention was that they were unhappy with Centre\u2019s representative AK Mishra for \u201comitting some of the important political points which was included in the formulation papers\u201d earlier prepared by then Interlocutor RN Ravi.<br>NSCN (I-M) member collective leadership, Rh Raising, during his interaction with media persons after the meeting, made it clear that the ball was in the court of the Government of India and not CCoNPI or the NSCN (I-M). \u201cIt is they (GoI) who are to decide. We have been waiting for their response,\u201d Raising stated.<br>NPGN\/NNC (NA) welcomes decision: Meanwhile, NPGN\/NNC (NA) has welcomed the decision of the NSCN (I-M) to resume the talks with Government of India based on the Framework Agreement of August 3, 2015.<br>In a press note, NPGN\/NNC (NA) president T.
