Nagaland Education Project – The Lighthouse (NECTAR) has informed that Performance Incentive Grants (PIGs) is made available for all 1939 government schools in Nagaland in three batches over a two-year period.
In a press release, NEP-The Lighthouse (NECTAR), project director, Thavaseelan K has invited applications from School Management Committees (SMCs) and School Management & Development Committees (SMDCs) for the second batch from September 20.
Forms will be available on nagalandeduproject.com and a link is shared with EBRC coordinators and district project assistants for circulation.
Forms should be filled and submitted to EBRC coordinators with mandatory enclosures on or before October 7. For more information, one could also follow at nagalandeducationproject (Instagram & Facebook) or NEP_Lighthouse (Twitter).
It may be mentioned that in the first batch, 738 schools were shortlisted and activities are being implemented under the 1st instalment.
The total grant amount over two years under government primary school is 3 lakh; 6 lakh under government middle school; 8 lakh under government high school and 10 lakh under government higher secondary school.
Total grant amount per installment for government primary school is 75,000; 1.5 lakh for government middle school; 2 lakh for government high school and 2.5 lakh for government higher secondary school.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
