Delivering the presidential address, NPF Mokokchung division, president, Moasangba Jamir stated that the NPF, since its formation in 1963, has always stood for an honourable, acceptable and inclusive solution. NPF still stands firm on those principles, Moasangba stated. With regard to the merger of the 21 NPF representatives, he said this was not towards a solution to the Naga political issue but for personal and political gains. Moasangba stated that NPF was \u201cstable\u201d and that the present oppositionless UDA government presented the NPF to excel.
