Marking the culmination of Dimapur Lotha Students Union\u2019s (DLSU) two-day golden jubilee celebration, an open-air concert was organised here at Dimapur Government College ground, Saturday.
Various artists enthralled the gathering with their performances which was attended by people from different walks of life.
Meribeni Patton with her mesmerising voice and Gideon Kithan with a soulful piece, opened the show. The headlining band of the open-air concert \u2018About Us\u2019 performed their originals; \u201cHeartless\u201d, \u201cRight Now\u201d, \u201cLoaded Love\u201d, \u201cGimme Gimme\u201d, \u201cAnother Day\u201d, \u201cOne By One\u201d, and also performed some covers of classic artists.
As the band continued to enthral the audience with their originals, the audience grew from hundreds to over a thousand. Among Us gave a performance worth remembering as they belted out songs included in every rock fan\u2019s playlist.
Fans were seen singing and dancing throughout the concert.
Their original \u201cGimme Gimme\u201d particularly caught the attention of the audience as they sang at the top of their voices and jumped to the rhythm of the music.
The song selection seemed more than just pleasant to the crowd as they screamed and waved the moment intros to the songs landed in their ears.
\u2018Paradigm Shift\u2019 also performed their originals as well as covers; \u201cOut from the black\u201d, \u201cTestify\u201d, \u201cStars\u201d, \u201cFigure it out\u201d, \u201cThese days\u201d, \u201cFor you\u201d and \u201cFix you (Coldplay)\u201d to name a few.
